Have no idea what this guy is, but my wife and I have enjoyed watching it grow. It's pulsating and has grown from about 1/8" to 1/4" since we found it.
Found it on a rock that a hammer head was attached to.
It's by itself, pulses to get food and I guess breath because it is constantly pulsing.
Hope it's not bad, but to be perfectly honest it's too much fun to watch to remove it unless something bad happens in the near future.
Just wondering.

Thats what you have and its all good a filter feeder. You see it moving that is the tunicate breathing and feeding. Have a read about them on line pretty interesting.

I want to say Halocynthia papillosa but Halocynthia papillosa doesn't have the white stripes as this one does... Kinda lost on this one.
The closest I found was Herdmania for a red with the white stripes.
