I think I am over thinking this but am very confused . As my 310 gallon tank is starting to fill I am needing to dose more. I used to be able to just dose calcium and alkalinity and my 2.2 gallon per day water change would take care of the rest. Mag is now being sucked out faster than that. I am so confused about magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate. I currently dose alkalinity with seachem reef fusion 2 (65ml per day) and use BRS calcium chloride for calcium(125ml per day) What should I use for magnesium. A simple answer would be great but an explanation would be awesome because I want a deeper understanding.

I use BRS magnesium. Here are their instructions. I dose this in my 250 whenever necessary. It’s lasted me a good few months
