Hi Everyone,

I recently had a spin test done on my reef tank, its generally ok parameters but some can definitely use a little boost. My PH is 7.8 , nitrates are 4 , salinity is 1.025 , phos 0.2, Calcium 365, magnesium 1191, Alkalinity 6.1. I purchased the red sea line of calcium, alk and magnesium. Can I get some help on how to properly dose, how often etc? Anything would help. Most of all the coral seem happy (no fish at the moment dealt with a brook outbreak ) fallow for about 5 weeks. Tank is a red sea e170

First and foremost, minor deficiencies aside - your corals look great. Inside the Red Sea supplements are instructions that detail how to calculate how much of each supplement you need to add based on your tank size and current parameters. I would take these amounts and divide them over a period of 10 days - making sure not to exceed the maximum recommended daily dose of any.

using a pipette or syringe type applicator, add several drops (up to 1m/l) and allow to dissipate in tank and check until target reached.

CA - 440
Alk 8-11
Mag 1300-1350
Salinity 1.025
Temp 77-79
ph 8.1-8.3
