Dragon gabby acclimation

Hey guys I just got a dragon goby and I've been acclimating him for about 40 min. How long is normal acclimation for him ??

Check your PH and Salinity if they match your good to go.

dang. I didn't do that just because I did t know I was suppose to . Oh well he's in there now

As long as you drip acclimated him ( or floated and just added some of your tank water in the bag every 10 minutes or so), should be fine. Not much you can do now but watch.

Yeah I know the acclimation process. But my worry was when I looked online I didn't know they were also brackish fish so that's the only info that was popping up. And I forgot to ask my lfs

If he was already in salt there's not much to worry about. Also thanks for the heads up i didn't even realize they were brackish. Now if you bring a fish from brackish to salt or salt to brackish I like to stretch that out over a 2 week span.

Hey guys one more question. So I put in the dragon goby last night. He's ate today. But when will he start sifting the sand is he feeling out the tank first or what's going on ?? TIA

Man I've had several over the yrs and some have taken over a month to sift some as soon as they go in the tank just give him time he will work it out l.
