DSC reef's 75 gallon adventure

Tank is looking great. Nice job to you and your wife. Love that Spongodes and the Tang is beautiful. Happy New Year!
Thank you @NY_Caveman, Happy New Year. That spongodes started with the build as a frag.

Wow this tank is really amazing dude. Your colonies are absolutely MASSIVE, I'm hoping to achieve something similar with my 75 as well. Which LFS do you get your aquavitro calcification from or is that something you order online?

Appreciate the kind words! We have mad reefer west in Melbourne order the aquavitro for us.

Looks like the rastas will be the host:rolleyes:

Awesome rasta colony!!

Our new asterina destroyer! After looking at pics of how many utter chaos we used to have and pulling more asterinas off the zoas as well, we decided to try out this harlequin shrimp. Actually looks really cool

They do look very cool. Wishing luck to your brittle stars that he goes on an asterina binge first!!

At this point we have to risk it. We just can't keep up with them. My wife has removed hundreds in just the last month and it hasn't made a dent. Hopefully he can add some help to the battle. Pulled some asterinas of the blue hornets. Those are the slowest growing zoas we have.

Yeah, I agree. Brittle stars are a small price to pay to rid the rest.
