Secret, I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish. If you want blue shots that show what corals look like under ReefBrites or any other blue/actinic lighting, there really isn't anything you have to do. Just take the picture. The purpose of shooting in the RAW format is so that you can correct the white balance, i.e., get rid of the blue cast and reveal the true colors. What type of image are you trying to capture?

thanks gary. i guess that's what i'm trying to remove the blue cast when shooting in RAW. i tried but no matter what post processing i do i can't seem to remove it. maybe it's just the fasstone program i'm using (haven't found the disc that came with the camera yet) . i'll give it another go tonight and see what comes up.
