Thanks :) I just used some Nyos reef cement finally tonight to hold it together. Eventually I would like a Dwarf Golden Moray Eel. So everything must be stable.

I feel so close!! Doors on, sand in. Need some saltwater. I will add 20lbs of live sand after I get it filled. Then some Tim’s one and only to get the party started. :)

How did you do your doors on the hood? I'm looking to add canopy, but I can't figure out how to support the weight of the doors over a 3' span.

They are just 3/8” plywood with some trim around. Mounted with 2 cheap hinges. They do have a very slight sag I can tell when open. They support each other when closed.

It has cleared up a little bit. I removed all filter socks and floss because I added Dr. Tim’s bacteria which said to do so. I also added a bag of live sand. I have an additional 10lb bag of live sand that I’m debating on adding.

I’ve only got API test kits on hand so I went ahead and checked it.
Day 2 -
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Phosphate .5-1.0 I think
Nitrate 0-5.0 I think

Used tank and I’m broke ;Hilarious I’ve got a few Hannah checkers but I’m out of regents!
