Thank you!!

I did think about that, but wasn’t sure. Would you recommend 2 200 or 300 watt heaters?

It kinda depends on what your house temp stays around all year. I'm running a total of 350 watts with three heaters. (Two 150 watts and a 50 watt) Consider that I've got a basement sump and my basement stays cooler than my upstairs. We keep temp around mid 70's year round. I'm also running 180 gallons total volume too.

You could be just fine with two 150 watt heaters depending on house temp.

Looking good!!

What's your thoughts on your Varos-8 DC return pump?

Are you happy with it and is it quiet?
Thanks! The pump is extremely quiet and I am running it on setting 3 of 5. I am very happy with it.

Needs some trim and some paint, but we are getting closer! I promise that one of these days this will be complete ;)
Top 2 sections will be open shelves, bottom opening will have doors to conceal lighting.

Nice work ! !

I agree! Dude, that's going to look outstanding when done! Very nice and very impressive work! Bravo!
Thank you! I think I’m going to order 40lbs more of caribsea life rock. Once I have that on hand I will finalize scape and stabilize with the Nyos cement.

I’ve ordered 40lbs of life rock and 2 finnex 150w titanium heaters.

I’ve cut all of the final panels for shelf and top light doors. Just have to sand them, attach, and paint!

-my wife wanted the right side solid down, without the little shelf. I know I would be upset if I didn’t have at least a small spot to set food/towel while working in the tank. I think it’ll look good once complete.
(These panels are currently just being balanced for the photo)

Here’s a shot with the first prime coat on the top. I can see the end ;)

Looking very GOOD!

One thing I should have told you is that you'll need some air flow in that canopy to vent out the humidity. Computer case fans work well and that what I use in mine. Food for thought.

There will be no top to the side shelf on the right. Maybe if that isn’t enough of a vent, I can eventually add a fan to that spot to blow the air out.

WOW, nice work there @Dsnakes
Looks like it's framing in nicely, and it's gonna look great once you have it all done!

Really like your rock work/'scape layout as well. You did a nice job at taking away the visual impact of the overflows with your design, and have some great open swimming areas.

Thank you! Those overflows are monsters, so my goal was to try and lessen their presence.

Thanks Rev! I’ve used the Finnex on a couple smaller tanks and have been happy with them as well.
