I worked in a pet store for years an I always liked this question: Can I pour some seasalt in my freshwater tank to make it a saltwater tank?

LOL yea that one got me too lol I also liked " I fillled my tank with water after putting live sand and the rock in but I dont see any live stuff like I did when I bought the rock? And I say did you pre-mix the water with salt before adding to the tank? mind you these are folks that didnt ask for help from me or anyone else sad thing is it happens alot.

Of course you can! Just don't expect anything to live ;)

I was in the LFS a month or two ago and a couple of guys were trying to buy some red slime algae. This may not sound like a dumb question but it was. "How much for this?" then he points at the algae. Of course being that we have a great store, they told him no he didnt want that! LOL!
