Just installed a gyre 150 and my Duncan closed up and doesn't look happy I'm only running it at 30% any suggestions

How long as the Duncan been closed up? If it stays closed up past 1 or 2 days I would move it to an area of lower flow.

What type of flow was it in before? Is it getting directly blasted? IMO, Duncans will thrive in pretty much any amount of flow (I have kept them in both high and low). It may just need time to adjust. Like Tahoe stated, give it a few days. If it doesn't open, move it. :)

My Duncan is the most resilient coral in my tank, doing fantastic in a variety of differing flow and light intensity circumstances. In your case it could simply be that things changed. If it stays closed up for more than two days without ever opening up even briefly, THEN maybe I'd start to worry but not before. This just happened with my anemone: I added a new piece of cured live rock and my nem closed up for two days. Now he's back, like nothing every happened.
