Hopefully that’s all it is, but I’ve been seeing the skeleton from one side of it. I’ll keep my hopes up but I’m not optimisticThat's just a tentacle or two. I see that in my tank too. Don't worry about it, the hammer isn't dying. Maybe that shrimp ripped some off, or a fish nipped at it.
Just keep an eye on the coral to make sure that noting is picking at it.
Oh, well that's not good. Is the candy cane and these hammers your first corals?Hopefully that’s all it is, but I’ve been seeing the skeleton from one side of it. I’ll keep my hopes up but I’m not optimistic
Should I cut my loses and just take it out? It’s not a big head but it’s also not a big tank. Can it nuke the tank?Oh, well that's not good. Is the candy cane and these hammers your first corals?
So it’s still going, but doesn’t seem to be getting better. It definitely plumps up when I add phyto or amino acids/coral food to the tank (started using korallen-zucht).No a dying coral won't nuke your tank. Personally I would not remove it, its still very alive, and you (all of us) have an obligation to do our best to keep it alive, don't give up so easily.
I’ve read the KFC dip but never actually tried it. Doesn’t seem hard, but they’re sold out. Where can I get the Amox and cipro? Is it just considered animal antibiotics?
And I’m not familiar with CSIE…
I think it’s starting to get a little better. I haven’t seen any tentacles on the floor and it looks like there are new small tentacles growing back.No a dying coral won't nuke your tank.
