Easy sps

I think a lot of times birdsnest, montis and such are often mislabeled as "easy". Depends on what the definition of easy is. They do well in lower light and grow fast but those corals are often the first to show signs of problems if water parameters aren't optimal.

Honestly I think sps is easier than zoas, I've lost way more zoas and palys than sps :\

Same here. I can't fix zoas when they start to melt. I can sometimes fix sps if they start to go south and many times I can tell what happened by looking at the coral.

I love Seriatopora Hystrix. When you say it is easy, what do you really mean? Is it because they rarely give you any troubles?

Birdsnest grows fast and is one of the easiest sps to keep. Doesn't need quite as stable of a tank. I would say it is forgiving compared to other sps.

I agree with JDA. Start with a piece of green slimer.
