Hey guys ive been in the hobie for about 4 years now i have ran t5s for years on a 55 and now have a new 75 custom 36x18x20. i have had a 20 long sps tank for about a year now running two kessel 150s over it and fell in love with leds lol. I bought the new 75 from a buddy and wanted to get leds for it. i have heard and seen tons of reviews and watched tons of youtube vids on ecotech radions and they look prettyy sick. i no the color spectrum on these lights must be better than others cause they have added in reds and greens and was wondering if anyone knew more about these than me.

thanks.

I take it the Kessel's are unsatisfactory to your tastes?

I have three radions for my lps dominated tank, mostly chalices and favias and all I can say is they are sweeeet!!!!!! Dailing in your preferred color spectrums are easy and the ability to manage intensity settings is amazing. What I like most about the unit is that it is self contained, no controllers needed, you just set up a program on the computer and let it run. I have no experience with other LED units, but through my research I found few other units that allowed you to set multiple spectrums within the day while transitioning to and from each different specturm setting. On another note, being able to play around with the different colors, allows you to dial in a ton of different looks for your viewing time at night, the tank really pops.

Like I said, I have no experience with other LED units, but I'm completely satisfied with the Radions. I have a 125 gallons and have 3 units hanging over it at 12 inches off the surface, total coverage, no spotlighting and the shimmer is out of this world. Any other questions just pm me or something.
