Has anyone truly quit smoking from using these? My wife and I both smoke and she says that she wants to try these out, but I know nothing about them (neither good nor bad). I have quit numerous times within the last 10yrs but only kick it for a couple of months at a time. I'm researching them but it seems every trial offer has some $$ sceem behind it, or is it just me? Anyway, do they work?

Vapor4life.com is where I got mine from. Helped me quit for 3 and a half months before I was bombarded with stress from every angle. Still have them and will quit again once everything is taken care of. If you're ready to quit, then definitely try them. Before I did, I wasn't able to quit for more than a day. Make sure to lower the nicotine content every month. Hit me up and I'll recommend some flavors. Good luck!

Thanks for the response fab. Yeah I'm ready to quit but it's def. not the time right now. We should be closing on our newly built house within a few weeks and then even more stress is going to pile in. I hate moving, especially with this hobby:cry:. I quit buying packs of cigarettes a couple of years ago and we started rolling our own. I figured that would at least slow my wife down but she just learned to roll them faster :squigglemouth: The smokeless cigarettes was her idea and I kinda laughed at first and thought why not just quit? I know I can if you do. I figured the smokeless has to be at least better, even if it's a temporary substitute throughout the day so we actually don't smoke as much.

You can order them even while you have stress. Like you said, they can take the place of real cigs. here and there, helping you cut down. The first day I tried them, I was still finishing up a pack but the next day it was only elec. cigs. for the remaining time. Try that website out. There are others but they don't compare. Vanilla and caramel mocha are a couple of good flavors. They have a ton of mint ones if you are into menthal.

Well we ordered them. I figured I would give them a shot. We went with the south beach kind since they had a better deal going on, plus they are lifetime warranty. Hopefully they work. I would like us both to get rid of the habit altogether.

buying 3-4 packs a day (2yrs ago) = $400-500 a month
rolling our own = $75 a month (drastic savings but still just as deadly)
E-cigarettes = We'll find out. I guesstimate $50. Might be cheaper and much healthier

Yeah I used to be a heavy drinker. I started in my early teenage years, went to work drunk, drank on the job, the whole shebang. Once my son was born I stopped. Congrats on quitting. Alcohol is very hard to give up

JCR,
Check out this forum. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/
It is where i learned everything!

I have been apart of this forum for years now. I have been using an e-cig for a long time...recently i have slipped back to analogs (nickname for real cigs LOL). But honestly i have cut back alot and stopped for almost a year the first time i tried e-cigs. Do you research and read up. There are alot of good companies. Vapor4life is a good one that i have ordered from before.

Just note that e-cigs are a type of device that will need a little maintanance to help them operate at it's best...There are also mods for these things too. Dont get over whelmed and just give it a shot! Good luck!

I can't believe they actually have a forum. Shows how vague information really is out there without the internet!

do these electronic cigarettes really help to quit smoking the real deal? And how do they go after you have finished that awesome slice of pizza do they satisfy?

The only way to quit smoking is to just stop smoking. I smoked for about 8 years and tried all kinds of stuff to quit, which never worked. One day I told my girl I was gonna quit smoking, her response was, "yeah right, you're never gonna quit.". I never smoked another cigarette after that, just to prove her wrong. Every one of my friends smoked (most still do) and I worked at a casino at the time...it was hard due to all of the temptation. The firs tthree days were cake, but head aches, shakes, and a bad attitude started around day four and lasted about ten days. After that, it just felt like something was missing during times I would have usually smoked, coupled with what seemed like a king cold (coughing and congestion) that eventually faded out. Im not sure how long it has been because I did not keep track of the day I quit, but it was about six months after hurricane Katrina (which I lived on the coast when it hit), and I've been smoke free since. You just have to commit to quitting and prove to yourself you gave enough will power to not smoke. Just don't smoke the cigarrette, ask yourself what does the cigarette really do for you and say it isn't worth it. Good luck quitting, I know it isn't easy.
