Elegance question

Just got this coral situated in my tank it looked partially detached apon arrival but actually looks happier than the other I got now. Anyways just wondering it this placement looks ok or it I need to move it not sure it the rock is preventing it from opening or not. It's the only low flow spot available in my tank right now thought I should put it there Incase something is wrong with it.

They are best placed in center of tank under moderate light and water flow with no coral within 3 inches as they will sting nearby coral

It looks stressed but not doomed. Do you have your parameters to share? I would look at your nitrate, phosphate, alk, calcium, and the lighting (type of light, PAR level) and the flow. Is it getting moderate flow in that spot?

Nitrates are 20 phosphates .25 calcium 380 and I don't have a par meter trying to rent one yes it's in low-mod flow. It's mouth was wide open for awhile if that means anything. Thanks.

if Phosphate is .25 (and not .025), that is pretty high levels. Phosphate targets are usually around .03-.07.

Also, how about alkalinity?
