EMERGENCY!

my radion XR30w light has stopped working. It gives me a red and green error code, which is overheating. The fan has quit working and I need a replacement fan quick!! I have a lot of money in corals and I have more coming Wednesday! I am probably going to order it from Ecotech, but does any one have a spare fan they could overnight ship to me? Ecotech does not have overnight shipping. please help me!

I do not know with Ecotech but it use to be normal computer fans 12 V in other fixturers

Don’t panic your tank can go many days without lights

As RetroReefer stated, your tank will be safe without lights for several days with no negative impacts. Definitely a good idea to get a new light coming right away but you don't need to fear losing corals because you'll be without light for a few days. Good luck.

I have fans that would probably fit, but, I would just wait. Just like stated above, your stuff will be fine. Maybe a little angry at you but, fine.

thank you so much everyone! I got a clip fan blowing on the light for now to keep it cool. I am ordering the replacement fan kit from Ecotech.

EDIT: get a can of compressed air and blow out the fan at least once a month.
