Enchinatas and Coral Dip

What is the best/safest coral dip for SPS corals, especially enchinatas, which I heard can RTN with certain coral dips?
I'm thinking of purchasing Coral Rx, will that be okay to use with enchinatas?

I have used coral rx and revive have had better luck with revive but not 100 percent have had rtn with both

dipped both the tyree and aussie echinata in revive, both fine.

everytime I dip ORA hawkins "echinata", it rtns overnight...


everything else I've dipped in revive, 10x the strength, for a 1-5 min has survived without a problem..

turakis (hawkins) burn very easily by dips. I have killed 3 turakis before. echinatas less so. coral rx pro works better than revive from my own experiences in getting red bugs off new corals. dips dont kill pests or get rid of their eggs. by the time they die it will probably kill the acro as well. fragging at base with new plug, checking for bare spots and qt is best.

I use tropic marin pro-coral cure and have had no problem with RTN. I've dipped a hawkins echinata in this stuff and it's still alive and thriving in my tank.

I use Revive and it works really well. Haven't had any problems with RTN or anything dipping them in Revive and have also never had any problems with pests.

I have had better luck with revive. I have had rtn with coral rx. I agree with changing the plug. And qt

I usually first inspect the coral then change plugs if I find it necessary. I then dip with revive inspect again and then go from there.

It's all About stress, When it comes to hawking or a turaky you don't want to dip them after all the stress for the shipping. I go with a 5 days of quarantine/dip I set up a small tank for few days before I add them to my D. Tank because they get really stress when ship, so this is how it works:
1.set up a small tank with some source of light and flow
2.live the coral in the tank for at least two to three days s
3.after the third day start the dip with CoralRX in the same tank I set up with at least half of the recommended dosage for the coral to get used to it.
4.Perform a full water change with some of my D. Tank so the corals start to get used to my water.
5.Two days after remove the corals put them in a container for at least 15 min. With CoralRX I use a turkey blaster to blast the coral the with some clean water in a small container I rinse the corals.
Note. I hasn't lose any of this type of coral (smooth skin) on dips.
