Encrusting Monti

When I bought my small monti frag it looked liked picture #1 with small polyps. For the past 4 months the polyps have grown and I can't even see the crust like picture # 2. Sorry the pic was ment for my hammer a few weeks ago but you can see the monti in the back. Is this normal?

Can you get a more clear picture of the green coral? So you mean that the orange monti turned green?

it turned into a hammer coral? Also the green coral in the background looks more goni than monti...again this is from the vantage of the pic

No the monti is still orange I believe but the polyps cover it up. Should they be this extended all the time? Sorry my lights are just coming on so they are super blue.

It’s fine, just super happy. No reason to be concerned
