Eshopps has launched a new desktop aquarium called Deskmate. Best known for their acrylic sumps, skimmers, and overflows, the twenty-year-old company has now produced an All-In-One acrylic pico tank, and we gotta say it looks like fun! Deskmate is just 11x12x10”/28x30x25cm in dimensions and holds a diminutive 3.8gal/14 liters, but what it lacks in size…

Is there a reason you are not using the eshoppes skimmer, that's what I got
@coraldreams No other reason than it has a smaller footprint at 3 L x 3 W x 10 H. The extra inch and a half of space weighed heavily on my decision.

Do you have plans to add anything else, in terms of external gear? Curious to hear your plan of attack for nutrient management.

Been reading a lot about hang on back refugium. Thought of fillingbit with miracle mud and chaeto. I'm hoping to reduce the need for weekly water changes. The miracle muy will help with trace elements too. I have the media tray I will use chemiclear blue in with a couple bio block
