True. My other consideration was adding some Peppermint Shrimp once the tank is super and fully operational but before the Wrasses move over. I figure if they get established and since they're nocturnal they "might" survive after the wrasses move over.

We got some salt mixed last night and got another batch going right now.

Today's agenda after the co-op is going to be:

• Get a 1/2" union for the return line
• Plumb the return pump
• Start more saltwater
• Order sand - I'm considering waiting on this until the January Supporter Giveaway ends in case I win LiveAquaria GC?
• Maybe rearrange rockwork some

I'm thinking about starting to take some of the rock out of the 125 but with the Aiptasia in there I'd almost rather take a rock out, dry it for a day or two, then add it. I know I'll have die off and decay but that'll just cause ammonia in the tank to help jumpstart bacteria.

Question for anyone that might know:

• If I let the rock dry out for a week or two and any Aiptasia dies, will the dead parts regenerate into live Aiptasia?
• Would it be better to put the rock in a container and baste it with boiling water and then dry I for a couple of days to ensure death and destruction of any Aiptasia?

I'd probably put the rock in a container, wait for the Aips to rear their ugly heads, and then shoot them with direct shots of boiling water. So far I've never had an Aip return after boiling it. Few days of that and you might have a clean rock!

I honestly don't know about the aiptasia, since your getting sooo much rain.:rolleyes:
I'm sure it would bake in the sun though, but those buggers are tough.

They can survive bleach, hypo and hyper salinity, freshwater, acid is good but you'll melt your rocks. I think the only thing left is a flamethrower or bonfire.

Maybe bleach for a week or two.. Toss them in the neighbors pool and tell them to shock it!

I have black, white, blue, red, purple, green, orange, and transparent in PETG and then just white for PLA. That's 8 PETG and 1 PLA.

i vote the peppermint shrimp route. i have no aptaisia in my display after adding them. some in the sump but none in the display. You can move the rock over let them clean it all up. sump them and then add fish except save the wrasse for the end. that way if you get any that come back you can pull the shrimp back out of the sump. or just forget the wrasse. my wrasse hasnt bothered the shrimp but they are bigger then he is atm.
