I added an air stone in the sump yesterday and the pH didn't dip as much last night. I'm curious if adding air at night and turning it off during the day if the pH would be more stable... CO2 lower during the night when the algae stop absorbing it by off gassing, pH naturally rising during the day through photosynthesis... Running an air stone during the day may cause pH to naturally rise higher than it would otherwise since it's off gassing AND photosynthesizing?

Finally got around to ordering a bunch of odds and ends things from LiveAquaria with my store credit. I still have a free shipping credit for live/frozen if I decide to risk it again.

I was trying to save the credit in case Hydros gear comes back in stock but when I asked, they basically said they had 0 plans on restocking Hydros so I just bought a little bit of what they still had in stock. Got some cables that I'll need eventually, some mesh bags, another air pump, and some more fish food.

Really good cube deal going on but I don't know where I'd store it all and I couldn't remember who had an issue with that. I was thinking you or @Stang67 - maybe both?

Yeah, @Stang67 got the thawed frozen about the same time I got the frozen live fish...

I have had some really weird deliveries from them in the last year, but they've never hesitated to issue a credit. I'm hoping the box and cow I just ordered arrive okay.

They sent my fish and Becky's food in those tinfoil/Styrofoam bags instead of a Styrofoam lined box. My fish had cold packs and the water was around 40° when it arrived even though it was 99° out. I think a big issue was the bags lying directly on the ice packs with no insulation between. It had brown paper for the insulation inside.

Yes, I had one that way as well. I wish I remembered which facility it came from. I've also had a number that came in perfect condition. I *think* it's related to the source location but I could be wildly incorrect. My first attempted boxfish came that way.

I paid attention this time, this delivery is coming from the Cali facility. We'll see how it's packaged....

I'd love to get some food but that fee. I know it's more for overnight and whatnot but man. I'm lucky I can grab some from the lfs. That's such a great price though.

Mine came from the Wisconsin facility.

I wish I could give you my free shipping credit...

No worries, I appreciate the thought though.
Not a lot of chance I'll be using it. I don't need much in the way of more fish but who knows.

I mathed it, even with the shipping it's less than work w/ my discount

Nice! Not official yet but it looks like I won the Mariner of the Month. I wonder if they'll let me swap out something for the 12 gallon ATO. If not, it will fit in the spot where my current AatO tank is, it just doesn't use the space as wisely.

Pretty sure Strats don't have Palytoxin but just in case... If I die it's been nice knowing everyone.

Took 3 polyps for practice. I've got another 4 billion to go if these stay alive.

If only my wife would finish her Ferrero Rocher...

I could have turned off the flow and it probably would help.

Same thing. Just used my GC, but skipped the Hydros and just bulked up my RODI filters.
