I've got 4 Joker's currently in my sump plus 1 in the DT. Gonna see if I can get at least $75 for this one. Post it for $100 to give room to negotiate? It's about 2" oral disc when fully open which is fairly close to full grown for these guys.

Alright, I've been using Seachem Reef Advantage calcium for a couple of days now - I should be close to 400.

Also, I've been adding a little Magnesium and some Ammonium Chloride daily so I need to test again. Corals that were "dripping" look like there's new growth between the drips and the skeleton so it seems as if my theory on high alkalinity, high phosphates, low magnesium and calcium could be correct. High alkalinity probably encouraged growth, high phosphates allowed for good flesh growth, low magnesium and calcium made for poor skeletal structure. New Calcium test kit gets here Tuesday but I think I have enough for another test in the old one. I'll run some tests this afternoon. Currently trying to straighten up around the tanks - house cleaning time.

I hadn't looked. I'm almost certain to be tied up all weekend because of some holiday thing. I can't remember what it's called though

I may have to bump up the Ammonium, Calcium, and Magnesium I'm adding... I've been dosing for about a week now and I'm barely seeing any increase. Ammonium is probably ok, sitting at 5.3-5.4 so not dropping anymore. Calcium I'm dosing 12.5 grams of Seachem Reef Advantage daily currently - I'll probably bump it to 25 until I get to 400 ppm and then drop back to 10 grams daily until my alk comes down to around 9.3 and then start dosing Calcium Chloride and Sodium Bicarbonate.

So I had a little store birthday credit at my LFS so I decided to take a drive down and grabbed 2 emerald crabs for the sump and a Halloween Hermit.

Sorry, no pictures though, we're trying to get out the door for our Christmas Eve service.

So I put the emerald crabs in the sump and both were playing dead. One dropped on the rock and didn't move but started eating bubble algae and detritus right where he landed, so good sign. The other one landed on his back and didn't move. I pushed it with the pinchers over to the rock and it immediately grabbed the rock and disappeared under it.

The Halloween Hermit went and hid when I added it.

Great news! Calcium broke 400.

Magnesium is still low. I added a cup of Randy's 2 Part today. Gonna add another cup here in a little bit. Mixed some fresh salt. I'll add a cup to that bucket and do a small change tomorrow. That should get me close to 1300.
