Eshopps PSK-100H Question

Hi,

Do you know if the Eshopps PSK-100H skimmer will siphon water out of the tank if
the pump is not running? The skimmer intake is in the water but not in use.

I don’t know why Eshopps doesn’t bother replying to customer questions.

If the air intake line is below the top of the skimmer (main part below the collection cup), it can back siphon. It did with mine when I would shut off the pump to clean it. I wrapped the tubing around the top several times to eliminate this problem.

As long as air intake point upwards, there should be no issues during power outages?
