Good morning All,
I recently purchased three euphilya frags.
Two hammers and an octospawn.
Last night after a water change I noticed that the octospawn is receding slightly, and its tentacles look skinner than they did the day before.
I wanted to know if these corals normally close up at night or show changes like this. I purchased the frags at RAP NY on Sunday, and I'm really hoping to get ahead of any issues. I'm running chemi pure blue and floss in the HOB.
Parameters:
Nitrates: 7.9
Phosphates: .19
Alkalinity: 8.7-8.9
Calcium: 460
Salinity: 1.026
All three of them are in a medium light area under moderate flow. Pictures from this morning before the lights come on below. I lost a cristal torch a while ago but the recession was 10 times worse. Hoping someone can give me an idea of what to do.
