Well its finally time. I came to R2R nearly 2 years ago new to saltwater with a sump-less tank with a very limited budget and no idea how to grow coral. Many of you have helped me immensely over the past 2 years and most recently ive been trying to figure out how to get sps to grow well and color up, now im finally zoning in on it and my now sumped little 20g tank is way to packed too let anything really grow out. Now the addiction is real and I plan to set up a propagation system some day but that is a ways off and for now lets talk about my new tank build. As luck would have it I won a Deep Blue 45g shallow reef ready tank. This will become my new build and will be called "Liquid Zoo". It will be a mixed reef with most of my equipment carrying over from the 20g cuz everything is way overkill on there and can run the 45g no problem. The big new thing needed for the 45g is the gyre 230 and that just got here today!

    Equipment:

45g Deep Blue Frag tank 36x24x12
    Eshops R100 Sump
Skims sn 123 monster mini DC skimmer
    DC Jeabo return pump
2x Kessil a360we lights with controller and goose necks
    Kessil H80 Fuge light
    2x Cobalt Neotherm heaters (200w and 100w)
    2x EcoTech mp10w
    1x Maxspect gyre 230
    Tunze Osomlator ATO
    Bubble Magus dosing pump
    Milwaukee PH Controller
Several Hydor Pico powerheads in the sump
    Custom Made Wood Stand

    Tank inhabitance:

1x ****** off female blacker ice clown
    1x dopey stary blennie
    1x bossy cherub angelfish
    1x passive royal gramma
    1x scarlet legged hermit
    1x cleaner shrimp
    1x rock flower nem
    various snails
    lots of coral
    whatever other fish I add

I will be posting pictures of the current state of the 20g tonight as I haven't updated that build thread in a long time and updating everyone as the new tank goes up!
