How do you check TDS? I am at zero according to the TDS meter. But can it be checked on stored water? Does your test work on salt water?

You test with the little TDS meter if you have one built in or you can test with a handheld one you can buy.

You can check TDS on stored water (although I imagine not with an inline TDS meter, would need to be a handheld one). TDS doesn't work for saltwater because the salts/calcium/etc are all dissolved solids
