I’m doing a frame off restoration on a 1968 Corvette. Simple enough, right? Move everything on the right side of my garage to the frame on the left (minus the clutter behind the car). And maybe lose a few thousand dollars along the way.... Things are underway. I’ll probably be ready to separate the body from the frame in a couple weeks.

Bass playing. Gets expensive quick.
A good guitar can run you anywhere from 500 to 1500. The one I like and am saving up for runs about 900, the one i have was about 350. Amplifier 500+ depended on how much wattage you want. I have only a small 350 watt amp which ran about 250. bass cabinet depended on how loud you want to be can easily be 500+, I have a 2x10 with a tweeter which ran about 400. then you've got your tuners, effect pedals, eq's which are all 100 to 200 a piece, dont have any as the style I play doesn't really call for any effect pedals. And strings have to be replaced regularly depended on how much you play. And the strings I like are about 50 to 60 per set. Then there's tools to keep your guitar tuned and playing well. Straight edges to adjust your truss rod keep the neck straight ect.....all adds up fast :)

Cars, guns and fishing lol. Kids are also into guns.

My cars you would not think get expensive. Volvo’s, yes I build Volvo’s lol. Here are 4 and a Nissan of mine.

Now my sons car. Ditched the 2.5 and put in an all forged 2.3 5cyl, gt3582r turbo, 1200cc injectors, etc. Car makes 535 to all 4 wheels. Well it makes 350 with the boost turned down lol. He doesn’t get high most until he is 18 or we go to the track.

my 1994 Volvo 940 turbo. All forged 2.3l 4 cylinder, holset hx40 turbo, 1400cc injectors, runs e85, megasquirt and makes 628 rwhp. Also has a 75 shot for giggles. Yes it has been sprayed while boosting at max psi. Ran a 9.97 in bowling green while spinning lol. Currently building a 6.0 that will be boosted for it.
Then there is my 1995 pathfinder. Still IFS but all custom fab by me. 3.3 swap with 11:1 pistons, 300zx tt injectors and mega squirt. Makes a whopping 247 rwhp (never dyno’d in 4wd). Has 34” tires and will just about go anywhere.

then there is my wife’s s40 and my 850r. Ignore the pic of the R with no bumper. Had not cut it to fit it then. Wife’s s40 has a 19t and tune. Make 387 to all 4 wheels. Great for a daily. The 850r is 6.0 liter swapped, has a single 88 trim and makes a little over 800 on e85. None of the other cars are ours. Those are friends cars and all are turbo, super harder or engine swapped also,
except the civic. It is a straight up auto x car lol. Even the Toyota solara and Pontiac boosted. My friends wife’s want to go fast in unsuspecting cars lol. All of these cars built by me, as well

i am not even going to go into detail about this rig lol.
