Exquisite Fairy Wrasse

Hello. I have an Exquisite fairy wrasse that I got from LiveAquaria back in September. He went through a QT, observation only, then went into the main tank a few weeks ago. He did fine in QT, he ate well and looked good. Since being in the main tank, he's gotten very skinny and his color has faded. He eats very well, he's always right in the mix getting his share of the food. The fish normally stays in the top portions of the tank, sometimes it seems he's blown around a bit by the flow. Any ideas what I should treat, if I can catch him. I've thought a freshwater dip to see about flukes, and I've thought about maybe internal parasites. I have Metroplex, General Cure, Prazipro, as well as several other medications on hand. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If it's swimming into flow alot, I'd say it's got velvet. Hard to tell from the pictures.

I'd get him into QT.

@Flippers4pups is likely right. How long did you observe him? If I go that route, my minimum is 6 weeks and I always treat wrasses for internal parasite regardless.

Wrasses have a thick slime coat and may not show obvious signs of velvet/ich as soon as other fish. I'd get him in to QT. At the very least he will have less food competition. If he looks well and is eating well, I would treat with Focus/General Cure daily for 2 weeks but be ready to treat for Velvet if not choosing to start it now.
