Thanks. I started with the Ushio 10K so it will be interesting to see what it looks like.That Giesemann bulb is labeled Marine. The MegaChrome Marine is sold as a 12,500K. It should be the same as a BLV 10,000K / Ushio 10,000K (none CWA model).
Any chance you've ran these ballasts on a watt meter?This one. I have the correct magnetic ballasts but get higher par with a digital.
Did not see much difference in color between the 2.
Running the 20K BLV on digital to start. It has a nice color to start.
