Where are you taking the PAR readings at?

IME, a RB fixture and electronic ballast will absolutely neuter a Radium bulb
Par is center under the bulb.
You will have to explained neuter.
I have the correct magnetic ballast
It gives less par than the electronic.

Ah, I saw the first post said an electronic ballast

When I ran Radiums in my old RB fixture and electronic ballast, I couldn’t even hit 250 PAR like 9” under the water

Couple test frags in.
I have 2 corals that I will put in the system once it's stable after I get a few more pieces of live breakdown rock this week.
Hungs Rainbow: growing well but color is off from original. 1.5 years of growth. It had more color when it first arrived but never pulled the colors from the mother colony.
It was a fresh cut frag.
Hoping the halide will color it up.
You can see the growth of the Jedi behind it too.

BC Last Super Nova
Slow grower. 1.5 years in the system.
Mine, and what it should look like, lol. It was in 350-400 par and I moved it to the bottom around 200 par
Adam grows it under halides so I am looking forward to see what it does in this system under halides.

Going to Your Reef today to look at the tank breakdown rock Josh got in last night.
Added 5 bags of eheim substrate pro. I keep around 10 between my systems. These have been in the systems for over a year.
Great way to get a system going and will help when the fresh live rock is added next week.

Pic from the couch.
I took the mow22 out and replaced it with an ow-40. Cut 2" off the post and it's closer to the surface and has a much smaller footprint.
Getting 230-280 par on the edges and 350ish in the middle with the edge at 75%.
Frag rack replaced with a frag rock.

Thanks again Dan.
35lbs of #gulfliverock in.
I found a real small Mantis and put it into my 13.
You can see the difference between the live rock and the 3 pieces that I got from lfs.
This is going work well. I will put 2 of the small rocks into my 13, and 15.
The halide gives a very nice look.

I never test for ammonia or nitrite but here are some readings after day one with the 35lbs of live rock.
I will start adding a few frags to test the system today as I removed all of them prior to the LR delivery yesterday.

Halide is only on for 4 hrs currently and I plan to increase to 6hrs peak over the next few weeks.

I did not notice a nice Rose coral until this morning. I have a nice one in my 150. Has nice polyp extension this morning. I will get a pic when lights come on.

Going to lfs today and will pickup some Trochus snails and a couple Turbo snails. Also will get an urchin.

This is close to what I did in my old 80. All rock elevated off the bottom with racks I had.
Racks are 1.5" so 15.5" to the surface.
I aligned it along the sides and back. This will give me the most usable space for growing out different coral.
This is the the Radium 20K.
I want to run it for a few weeks then I will run the 10K for 3 and decide which one to run now that I have the rock and a few test frags in.
Edge bars are on from 10-8.
Halide is on from 12 to 5. Eventually I will get it to 8hs.

This is even closer!
I have 2 Hamilton 20k's. This looks close to the 14K de 250's I ran.
A nice crisp ice blue. I like this look alot compared to the 20K radium.
250-340 par on the rack area with the edge at 75%.

Going to The glass shop on monday and see if they can cut a piece for the LB reflector.
I plan to hang it and compare spread and par which should give another 100 par.
