So I picked up a few media reactors. Due to space/setup the best location for them is away from sump. I plan to run the reactors off the main return pump/manifold. My question is on the output side of the reactors. Would I need to have a separate return line into the sump for each reactor? This is what I see the most, but most have the reactors right above sump. I will not, can I combine all the returns from the reactors into one (manifold) and run one pipe back into sump?

It can be done, but it will be a significant challenge. Any difference in pressures or flow may cause backflow into one of the reactors.
Personally, if combining was the only option, I would combine them into a small "plenum box" and have that flow into the sump. Would avoid the backflow problem and still allow you to run one line to the sump. Depending on the location, this will likely require a second pump to pump the water to the sump.
Not ideal, but still a possible solution.
