You’re right....those pics suck. Just go ahead and ship the Canon to me so you don’t have to deal with it anymore.

Are you using the WB settings the other person left you with or did you reset it for these shots? The background appears more actinic than the subject?

I just run ab+ with a couple hrs of all blues on either side. Run with 2 blue+ and 2 actinic bulbs. Almost all my stuff are at 300-450 par.

So I am using their settings but they told me how to set up my own white balance for my system.... though it should be very similar to what they used since I’m using the exact Radion settings they did for shots. Main differences I guess would be how high the fixture is. I didn’t use any gel filters and no kelvin correction in Lightroom. I just wanted to use it “as is” the first go around and only adjustments I made were to exposure and crop.

I’ll detail what he told me on how to setup my own custom white balance and how to adjust when needed when I get some time to do it.

I’ll let you know when I officially endorse the Canon life. I’m still holding on to my memory card-less Nikon for now.

I’m in Caldwell Idaho now. I left Texas and went to the University of Oregon for undergrad and University of Idaho for law school. I’m from Idaho originally. Bought a house up here. Just purchased a 300 gallon over the weekend. Putting in new floors then I’ll get my build started.
