Hi all. I've got a male and female pair of Pictilis Anthias. They show zero aggression towards each other. Can I add a fathead anthias to them? Anyone with experience? It's a 300 gallon non-aggressive FOWLR. Thanks!

In my humble opinion, yes 300g is plenty big enough. I mixed Bourbonus (spelled wrong) and Fathead.

I would add several more because if the male is aggressive it will spread out the aggression. I tried 7 of these and only 1 survived so take it for what it's worth.

Your biggest issue is fathead or sunburst anthias are very shy and tend to hide in caves.

I’m a 300g you may not see them often.

They are not very aggressive eaters. I always have to put in plenty of food so mine can get some.
