Power washer... best thing ever for my reef. Need to clean your reef items with zero elbow grease...Power wash it! Ive used my power washer to clean: Power heads (MP40's), Protein skimmer, filter socks, dirty pipes, hoses...it work folks and no heavy chemicals required. It works amazingly well on my mp40's...i can clean all 4 less than 10 minutes.
That's a REALLY good idea, thanks for sharing this...off to my garage!

Toothbrush
bottlebrush
scrub brush for like dishes (great for algae on weirs)
turkey baster (of course)
cheap half gal pitches-dedicated for fish use
old tupperware strainer for coral dipping (put in clean saltwater for a rinse between dips)
flashlight for night viewing (took hubbies super bright led lol's)

Adding a new one that I just found. I had originally planned to use a Voss water bottle for a DIY dosing container, but then I realized I don't live in a rich enough part of town for anywhere to sell Voss water lol. Ended up finding these on amazon and they are perfect. The pouring spout it comes with is awesome because I just slid the dosing tube in it and it holds well.


Oooh!!! I have been looking for a dosing container solution that doesn't involve DYI... THANKS for the idea!!!
