I mean no harm either, usually it’s to lighten the mood when things get too hot or serious. We should be having a good time here. I often feel like some posts are like 1929 board meetings and I’m about to attempt a swan dive out the window. I have no problem letting people know when they’re being agro and bullying. I try to do it in a jokingly, harmless manner but I don’t think my sense of humor…..or lack there of…..always translates well to text. I would never belittle someone for posing a quote stupid question. We all have, and continue to ask dumb questions in lifeThere are a few members here I will post or
Comment random questions or facts just to challenge their opinion but … at the end of the day it’s very clear I mean no harm by it nor do I think their opinion is anything less than or belittle them for it .

It's like your physician throwing a handful of pills at you and telling you to take whatever you catch (grin).
It’s not that I don’t do any research. I’m just too stupid to know what the heck is going on! Ha, I’m kidding I’m not that vain. I agree, it totally can be so much easier to pose a quick question that has been asked and answered a thousand times already, than to sift through the ginormous swamp of effluent that has compiled over the years. Especially when its anything to do with numbers or calculations, no matter how simple.I have the occasional question that seems stupid to some. For example “How do I mix up a 2ppm phosphate stock solution using sodium triphosphate”. I could spend hours researching that question and still get the wrong answer because there are specialised criteria for obtaining the answer, such as the water content of the TSP. Alternatively I could post the question on the chemistry forum and someone like Dan-p would walk me through it. It’s a very efficient means of information sharing. I can only think of 1 person recently on this site that I’ve seen, that obviously does no research on anything, however, he may have certain life challenges which I can fully empathise. Obviously he may just be a lazy bugger also, but nobody is forcing anyone else to reply.
Does anyone else get scared to ask certain questions about problems they are facing because of the fear of judgement?
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this thread trend but I was too scared to ask anyone!Just don't ask if your clowns are "acting normal"
A person could be in the hobby for a while and if they are trying to educate themselves as they go, it's likely that things will go well...until it doesn't! Then you find yourself asking a question that maybe most newbies have already gone through.Being the owner of R2R and the fact that I've been in the hobby for so long has kept me from posting some questions in the past. YES I know, it shouldn't matter! For the most part though I have just laid down my pride and asked the questions that need to be asked. I also ask them for the current and future hobbyists who are and will be looking for the answers. Remember some people will never ask a question because they won't create an account and be able to start a new thread so they are just searching. The questions asked, both big and small, will benefit everyone!
