Feather duster help

So I got my first feather duster six weeks ago. He has been in QT with rocks and some sand and I was going to put him in DT tonight but he is stuck to the glass on the bottom. What's the best way to get him free?

Thanks. And actually he is going into a refugium. Any thoughts on placement for him? Will he need light or lots of room?

Nice set up! Best to put them in an area with some deep sand. They don’t require much light as they are filter feeders.

Hope he likes his new home. I added this refugium six months ago it has 160 pounds of Oolite sand.

Today I picked up more feather dusters, put them in QT that I'm currently QT some peppermint shrimp. Are peppermint shrimp ok with the dusters? The lady who grabbed them for me tried to pull one off a rock and just pulled the tube off soon as I put them in with the shrimp they were all over it picking it apart. For now I just put more sand over them but will peppermint shrimp be a problem for the dusters?

They should not pose a problem. I’ve not witnessed that type of behavior in a Peppermint Shrimp attacking a Feather Duster.
