Feather duster worm

There’s 3 of these things on my snail. Are they baby feather dusters?it comes in and out just like a feather dusters does. The worm part of its body looks whiteish. I also just noticed there is a lot of small star like looking things all over the glass of my tank. Too small for a picture to catch.

Agreed! I think it’s super cool when snails carry them around on their shells.

When they grow and get to big for the snail will they just detach from the snail and find a new home?
