Prob my CB applejacks favia I won in auction from him. I was only supposed to receive one head but he hook me up. Unfortunately shipping was delayed on an extremely cold night bags were ice cold and tissue was sloughing off but it has recovered nicely with 4 mouths on the way. IMAG1266[749].jpg

Aside from just loving the whole experience, I super love my duncan which went from 7 heads to well over 25. Can't even count them. And my blue toadstool. And I just discovered my two micromussa's have tons of new heads as well. But my new loves are my new anthias--2 dispar and 2 purple queens. Ask my hubby and it's the giant palys (that I hate as they are gonna take over) and the new red coco worm. Oh, also love the new tank build. So I have tons of tank love going here.

New anthias. Love the way ALL the fish are grouped in one corner of the tank

I have to say, some of the friendships I have formed, and the wonderful sense of community has brought out is something I love about reefing!

Right now the tank is in the process of being brought back up after a move, so I will love it more when that project is finally done!

I love the biology behind the hobby. I could care less about expensive corals or equipment. I love discovering new things. This is the reason I love using live rock instead of dead rock, you just never know what you might get. I received a goby once who was hiding in a hole in the rock. Yea you get the occasional pest that is why you quarantine it for a bit to remove critters. The only bad critters have had in the 30 + years has been mantis shrimp and crabs and both are easy to bait and trap. I like the old fresh rock sometime you get a a coral you can not buy in the hobby.

My corals are pretty cool and the colours are awesome, but they are just a pretty backdrop. I LOVE my fish. I have to work very hard to maintain pristine water and be very careful about fish compatibility so that I can have a well-stocked successful tank... I can watch them swim for hours.

I don't know about "love", but I very much enjoy watching my fish play in the random currents I have in the tank and seeing the growth from my coral when I actually have the tank "dialed in".

Not sure this counts, but my reef if not yet set up. What I would love is getting my replacement tank by the end of the month after finding a crack in the original new tank.

Its art & science. The most expensive piece of instillation art I'll ever build.

I love when my tank is doing well. Struggled for a few months before removing my Potter's Angel, and then everything started flourishing!
