Its was actually my first job as a kid of 13. Working at a place called the coral reef. Fish only store that specialized in saltwater. Dude was waaay ahead of his time. Doing things that people wouldn't really start doing for another 20 years. Glad you made it out! LOL

What’s really annoying is I don’t get notifications if somebody posts in a thread I’m apart of including my own haha! So it’s easy to miss things unless you’re tagged or they quote your post.

I loved it up there, but it's not for everyone. It is definitely easier to do a lot of things down in the lower 48.

I had NO idea how active the midwest is in reefing when I moved here. BRS is just over in Minnesota, too and there are a lot of very active saltwater people around here. Just luck!

Thats way cool ! I wish there were more social reefers here. We had a club about 15 years ago but it just faded away. I saw someone recently try and get another one started but im not sure if that went anywhere.

and it would be a nightmare to turn notifications on. That is why I try to tag the winners, hope something gets seen by them.
