I thought I might have lost my clam as its foot detached from the rock I had it on and was really worried, so I moved it down the tank a little and it opened back up and reattached to the new rock, feeling really lucky right now

Let's see a pic!

I'll see if i cant get one, have some algae grow on its side, which i think was part of the issue though my hermits seemed to have cleared up some and enjoyed

i know its the not the clearest picture, will get a better one in the morning with the lights on, im just happy to see it opening up again

A clam detaching itself doesn't mean its going to perish. Sometimes it's just not happy in it's current position so it can detach its byssal threads to relocate. I'd make sure it gets plenty of light and make sure it's not getting blasted with flow.

I did relocate it, it was up near the top of my tank getting tons of flow and all the lighting it wanted, and for a whole was loving it. Now I moved it down about 6" and it's happy again, though I think I'm gonna have to upgrade my lights eventually
