I bought a six line wrasse and a bi-color blenny from the same spot on Sunday and put them in my cycled quarantine tank. The six line ate almost immediately and was fine for a few days but yesterday rapidly went downhill and was dead today. I noticed what appeared to be a small sore near the tail and the fins were very frayed but this was guy was tiny it was really difficult to see anything else. I did notice some solid white poop coming out so probably had something internal.
I attached some pics but not sure how helpful they are, I couldn’t get my phone to focus well.
Anyway I’m trying to figure out what/if I should treat the goby with to ensure he doesn’t meet the same fate. He’s fine at the moment and eats just fine. Should I start prazi and some type of medicated food to be safe? I have prazi, metroplex, kanaplex and furan-2 on hand. I also have some focus. I can get General cure quickly as well.
IGNORE THIS IMAGE, I can't seem to remove it, this was a coral hitchiker from years ago.
