I have seen them online, but haven't seen one in operation. I'm tagging along to see what people say about them.

I HATE filter socks. So much so, that I’ve pondered one of those filter roller thingies. Do they work and are they worth the money?

Have you considered no filter socks and just running an oversized skimmer? May be the sweet spot for keeping nutrients at the right level as well (if you keeping SPS).

I’ve thought abt it but I’ve always been scared to do it. I’d have to monitor phosphate and nitrate really carefully.

I am getting the Clarisea SK-3000 today, which seemed to have the most positive reviews online, as well as several videos about it. I will follow up once I get it installed and going.
