Some species of filefish bite at rocks to hold onto them (weird, I know!). Or, your fish may be biting at rocks to see if there is anything edible. Still, it should be eating food that you offer it if it is otherwise healthy.

ive tried hikari marine s, and those like liquid mysis foods that have chunks of mysis, all of it was refusedI can see the fin damage, but it doesn't look infected to me. Getting the fish feeding is important though....
