Haha yea, that tree is a balancing act. It actually helps create chaos. When the flow is at its strongest, it creates a ripple at the surface than angles the flow downwards through the branches and across the tank. Took alot of time to figure out how to use the rocks and some of the coral create flow for other corals in the tank.

Don't simply bulk SPS in with Acropora. SPS like Birdsnest, etc won't handle near the flow that Acro's will enjoy.
It's not to hard to blow the polyps off the stalks of Birdsnest, Pocilopora, etc which then don't grow back and end up being dark dead stalks.
