Finally getting dive certified

I've been doing it since 16. Love it. Spend most my quick dives in lake saint clair area (3 minutes away, have boats in the water). For me, it doesn't matter where I dive at. I'm excited before I get in, still excited when I get out. Sometimes visibility sucks, and usually see local fish only in shades of washed out gray and blue.

But the feeling of just being a lone and underwater is amazing. Most of my dives are solo, which I prefer. Anytime I dive in groups or with others my feeling of freeness seems to be hindered.

You're going to love it, like a whole nother world!

For me, the feeling of total weightlessness still thrills me. It's the closest thing to free flight that most people will ever experience. And the fact that you're "flying" through a beautiful, alien world is just incredible. In 25 years, I've never had a bad dive. And I've had some pretty challenging ones.
