Hello everyone !!

so I delt with a good bit of issue within the month. I started up the tank around June 16th and slowly started to build everything up, installing the plumping, hooking up the controller, install misc equipment on the tank, building of the rock scape and watching endless of videos.

Here is an exciting update I wanted to share.

First it all started here with the Tank Delivery CADE S2 Delivery (Read form post for more info if your not following the start) it came with issues but the team at AlgaeBarn have made is right with me.

I then decided to set up an RODI system and really no need to read this post but I didn't know alot about TDS and now I know more thanks to people on this form page !
Here is that link Delly RODI Unit <-- this post talks about using poxy and how it started to leach into the water. Now knowing this but using water that is just RODI and having it be cold was causing the poxy to break down. This was the biggest pain of the total build so far.

Delly CADE S2 600 Issues Here are more issues I was dealing with to include, leaks, bubbles and black water.

I decided to break down the tank and clean it all out and start over from scratch, also to note, my Hydro launch controller came with a hardware issue that could not be fixed so I had to get a replacement for that, That wasn't to bed but just socked overall given I was met with another issue I had to solve.

Starting over seemed to be the best option at this time.

Ok now for the update !

I added RODI water to the system after a couple of days I then warmed up the water and then added my salt. I watched the flow of water for bubbles and after fixing the union from 3/4 inch to 1 inch flex piping, we got a good seal and everything seems to be flowing corerctly.

I then added the rock work, after cleaning them and scrubbing down each rock before going into the tank. and after that was completed I added my ocean direct sand and then after a day added filter floss which cleaned everything up within hours.

Here are pics of my current display setup.

FYI: I only put the tank light on to just take a quick picture, I will have them off for a week, as I order my Live sand from TBS, and possible live rock rubble.

Thank you all for the help, and Delly is finally up and running.

Joe
