Hi!
I just received my first fish for my 15 gallon today, yay!!
I got a Yasha goby.
Tomorrow I am picking up a Randall’s pistol shrimp, and was wondering whether it’s a good time to put a fire shrimp in the tank? Are they aggressive?
Will they become territorial?

fire shrimp are not aggressive all at. They most hide during the day. Cleaner shrimp is more active, but IMO not as nice looking as fire shrimp

That’s my dilemma, I really like the colours on the fire shrimp, but I obviously won’t see them as much!

I’d go with a cleaner shrimp in a 15 gallon or a pistol shrimp to pair with the Goby.
I already have a Yasha Goby and I’m ordering a Randall’s pistol shrimp tomorrow!
this is to go aswell as the pistol shrimp.

If you want to see your shrimp get the cleaner. I have a cleaner, a fire and a coral banded shrimp but I really only see the cleaner unless I look way in the back of my tank behind all the rock. To be honest I wish I bought a second cleaner shrimp instead of either the coral banded or fire shrimp.

BTW yasha is an amazing fish. It took him about 2 weeks before he would come out regularly but now he is always out with his pistol shrimp buddy. Their names are Wanda and Vision!!:)

Awesome!! Mine arrived literally about 6 hours ago and is hiding in the rockwork.
A Randall’s pistol shrimp is coming on Tuesday to be his buddy!
I can’t wait till they are out and about a bit more.
I think I’m gonna go with the cleaner shrimp seen as they are so much more interactive
