Triton result comes back recommends dosing
1. magnesium - 1346
2. potassium - 392
3. iodine - 33
4. fluoride - 0.63
5. lithium - 195
6. manganese - 0
7. vanadium - 0
8. zinc - 2
9. molybdenum - 6
10. nickel - 1

and lower my phosphate - 0.1

I have a 20G tank moved to TM all for reef from dosing 2 part daily a few weeks ago and doing daily 3% water using red sea coral pro salt. I think out of these recommendation, I wouldnt touch phosphate and magnesium, they seem normal to me and has been stable at that level.

Im considering boosting manganese. I have a new alveopora frag thats doing poorly. I think this is a key element for flower pots.

Reading from articles, i think i can ignore most of these, but is there any thing else i should consider dosing? vanadium? Is the iodine level considered low enough and worth a lift? I also notice the iron and chromium are 0. Are they just due to limitation of testing?

Thanks

Your elements, including the phosphate, is very good. Iodine is good the way it is.

I would consider purchasing a bottle of Tropic Marin K+. It contains most of the trace elements you are deficient in, including iron and manganese. I’m having good Goniopora results dosing it.

Thanks. Do you dose Tropic Marin K+ on a regular basis or as a top up according to ICP results?

I dose Tropic Marin A- and K+. It’s two parts that cover almost all the trace elements we need. I dose them per the bottled instructions, and my ICP results are spot on every time I check.

I would not dose magnesium right now.

Also, I would never go out of my way to dose lithium. It’s now a problem to maintain it, but it is not biologically required by any organism.

Thanks yea i dont think magnesium need any adjustment at that level. Would you think vanadium worth a top up from 0? I think the manganese certainly does

If the Triton ICP is not presently ICP-MS, one cannot know based on a zero, but it won't hurt to add some, or use a product like Tropic Marin A and K.

Do not worry that it will make anything rise to problematic levels at the recommended doses.

Do you dose A- and K+ weekly or daily? Naturally this likely depends on each person's ICP results, but just trying to understand if people are using the A- and K+ all week long or just once a week..

You’re “supposed” to add it daily based on the directions.

I just bolus dose the entire week’s amount every Sunday. My tank is happy.
