Is there anything I need to do with these results (besides doing more water changes)?

I was surprised at silicon-I dose one or two drops a week into my 50g just to feed pineapple sponges and tunicates and give my snails a diatom snack or two? I don’t have any diatom outbreaks, but it says critically high.

Where would sulfur or strontium even come from? Vanadium?? Looking forward to learning some chemistry!

First of all… raise your salinity.

Secondly, I wouldn’t dose Silica just to feed sponges. Unless you have a sponge tank.

Also, maybe check RODI next time as well? Some of the metals and other ions came up a bit high which can be a sign something is off.

But I usually ignore most trace elements

Phosphates CAN be lowered a bit but it’s not as critical as ICP makes it out to be.

Do you run a Phosphate remover? aluminum and Lanthanum is suspiciously high

I used a baggie of GFO one time for phosphates, and now lanthanum, yeah, although I’m scaling that back a bit as things are coming back under control.

Ok, so it sounds like I need to check my water, salinity, leave the silicate alone unless dinos return, and otherwise just water changes?
