Updates:
Livestock : after coralcon 2014 i got an anemone $30, candy cane $4 1 head, torch $30 3 heads, xenia , green star polys i think its the name and a zoa which upto this day hasnt fully open due to aiptasia on the plug so been trying to deal with that waiting for it to recover.

Set up: i bought a rodi unit been making my own water next week im getting my reef crystal so first time mixing hope all comes out great. Added a DIY Auto Top Off making it only run 18v in the sump for safety, 2 float switches in the sump for safety as well and 1 in the bucket where the pump is at so it wont run dry. Used acrylic for the supports . Added some small t5s i found at work for free lol to my sump to try and grow my chaeto (on opposite to dt lights for ph), tomorrow im getting and setting up my rodi auto shut off valve so no overflow worries. Added chemi-pure elite to fight off some hair algea and red slime growing on the sand after few days i cant see anymore red slime just a blown dust on top of the sand still some hair algea mostly on the snails. After adding sump most my corals didnt recover i lost my hammer and my small frogspawn doesnt look that great the bigger frogspawn is getting better .

One of my mistake (probably the reason they died) i didnt do much research on dosing calcium and kh until recently so now im dosing 10ml almost every night and feeding corals after lights out. I tried to look for the feeding tentacles with a red light and they just look close thats something after 2 hrs of lights out hope its not bad...

I changed the temperature on my tank also leaving it at 82 read that most coral grow better with temps from 82 to 84

I think thats all for now

It sounds like you've been researching - you really want to run the tank more around 78 - not in the 80's.

Update on my tank I moved from my old apt so decided to take the dirty sand out and go bb took this moment to add new fish while my clowns where still adapting to the new rock scape and the change so I bought a six line wrasse , royal gamma, pj cardinal, and a female emerald crab took awhile to find the sex of the crab but we got it. My fish wish list is a green meandering and some tangs I know that for tangs I need a bigger tank hopefully in the future there's a upgrade but as for the meandering as soon as I get some money I'll buy it.
